Potez 33This is a featured page

In 1931 the Belgian Government acquired eight Potez 33 aircraft (a military derivative of the commercial airliner (4 passengers) Potez 32, itself being a development of the Potez 29 biplane) for the training of observers, radio operators (TSF) and gunners (for that purpose equipped with a dorsal turret). In many cases this sturdy aircraft was also used as squadron hack. At least three aircraft were still in service at the outbreak of the Second World War. On machine being evacuated to France was finally abandoned at Pau airfield. More information on the BAHA-website page.
