During the troublesome events during the independence of the Belgian Congo in 1960, a Piper PA22 Caribbean 150 was used as liaison aircraft in East Congo.
This unique aircraft was used by the Light Aviation of Belgian Army. Its use was relatively short as it was written-off in an accident in april 1962.
