Due to the expansion of pilot training at Kamina (Belgian Congo) an urgent need for large passenger transport arose. In 1958, two new DC6A aircraft were purchased from the manufacturer Douglas. These were joined by two former Sabena DC6Cs. The aicraft were operated by 15 Transport Wing - 21 Squadron. In 1976 all aircraft were sold to a French company.
