As a replacement for the Alouette II the Belgian government ordered three secondhand Cessna 182 Skylane II liaison aircraft on the American market. Before delivery they were overhauled and standardised at the Cessna factory in Reims (France). After the loss of G-03 at Melsbroek a replacement aircraft was bought. 100103: Crashed during the landing Zaventem (Brussels Airport) after a photo reconnaissance flight. Apparently the aircraft was caught in the turbulence of a cargoplane that had just landed. Both crewmembers were killed. Inspector Hedwig Devos (pilot), Inspector Lieven Vlaeminck (observer).
