I was in Beauvechain (All Weather 1st Fighter Wing at that time) from 1979 till 1988. I started first as trainee mechanic on F-104G, especially on J-79 engine (1979) I worked the rest of my time as engine specialist on F-16 at the "Repair" squadron. (Intervention F-16 / Hangar H2) I left the Belgian Air Force to join Luxair Maintenance (Luxembourg) in January1989. I'm working as Airframe & Power Plant technician (A&P mechanic) and i'm actually certified (Part 66 Licence B1) on Boeing 737classic , Boeing 737 NG, Embraer 135/145 , and Bombardier Dash8 - Q400. Aviation is still a passion.
